Just some words.

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

We have no right to ask when a sorrow comes, ‘Why did this happen to me?’ unless we ask the same question for every joy that comes our way.

You have it easily in your power to increase the sum total of this world’s happiness now. How? By giving a few words of sincere appreciation to someone who is lonely or discouraged. Perhaps you will forget tomorrow the kind words you say today, but the recipient may cherish them over a lifetime.

Exercises kindness, justice and righteousness.

“Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in this I delight.”  (Jeremiah 9:23-24)

Only for one second without hope.

Man can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air, but only for one second without hope.

Time goes by so fast, people go in and out of your life. You must never miss the opportunity to tell these people how much they mean to you.

The greatest weakness of most humans is their hesitancy to tell others how much they love them while they’re alive.

I certainly don’t regret my experiences because without them, I couldn’t imagine who or where I would be today. Life is an amazing gift to those who have overcome great obstacles, and attitude is everything.

Feeling grateful or appreciative of someone or something in your life actually attracts more of the things that you appreciate and value into your life.

Be Impeccable With Your Word. Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
